A Colorado Mountain Wedding Fairytale

Lindsay and John’s Colorado mountain wedding was something out of a fairytale. Their ceremony took place on top of Keystone Ski Resort with sprawling mountain views. The setting sun casting the perfect light across the mountains. The reception followed indoors at Timber Ridge.

Timber Ridge Weddings

Keystone Ski Resort is one of our favorite locations for an outdoor mountain wedding ceremony. The views from the top of the mountain are hard to beat! Timber Ridge weddings are able to have the picturesque Colorado mountain wedding ceremony outdoors, then head indoors for the reception. Guests get to ride two gondolas to the top of the mountain on their way to the wedding- a very cool experience for out of state guests!

Lindsay and John really focused on the details for their wedding. The table settings were elegant with pastel blues, tall candles and leather accents. Lindsay chose to double up on the sheer wedding draping to transform the Timber Ridge space. The focal point of the room was a large floral centerpiece that hung from the tall ceilings.

Their creative place cards had each guest’s name painted onto a gemstone cross-section. They also printed long scrolls with the lyrics to their parent’s wedding songs that hung on each side of the fireplace. To top it off, they even had a custom built swing to hold their wedding cake!
