Music to the Eyes: A Rock ‘n Roll Themed Styled Wedding Shoot

Music lovers rejoice! Thanks to the creative forces that are Sparrow Event Planning, Colorado Tents & Events (CTE) had the honor to collaborate with an A list vendor team to bring one of the most unique styled shoot themes to life. 

Does music hold a special place in the hearts of you and your loved one? Is it possibly one of the very things that brought you together in the first place? Us Coloradans understand what it means to have a passion for music. Some of the most iconic symbols of our great state are synonymous with it, like the infamous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Just as important to us as our most well-known venues are our beloved local music halls. It’s heartbreaking to see how much the live music industry has suffered due to the pandemic. But, with hope on the horizon and capacity counts rising, venues like the 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco, Colorado are looking forward to opening their doors for not just concerts but weddings and events!

Meet our lovely models Caitlin and Joe. 

This music-inspired couple shares their vows at an intimate ceremony on the 10 Mile Music Hall outdoor, second-floor deck overlooking Mt. Royal. The ceremony design is classic with a bohemian twist. CTE’s rustic, wooden x-back chairs with white chair pads provided guest seating. An eclectic rug aisle leads to a gorgeous, floral-adorned, custom arch took center stage, framing a romantic white candle set-up. Pure ceremony decor perfection!

As we move inside, the music hall’s aura dispels romanticism and intrigue. The bride and groom take their seat at a Victorian-inspired head table. CTE’s shabby chic armchairs serve as the newlyweds’ thrones, flanking a lavish, icy blue, velvet swathed sweetheart table. Crystal, cut glassware and gold and black tableware, and decor accents embellish the ornate floral centerpiece. The tone is set, and each table has front row seats in front of the venue’s stage. 

Moving throughout the venue, guests will come across an Eden-like lounge. Whether it be the perfect photo backdrop, a cocktail hangout, or a comfy space to kick up your feet in between songs, this lounge set-up is sure to leave a lasting impression. It is outfitted with CTE’s glass gold shelves, white shag rug, capiz coffee table, and ivory loveseat, and Alison’s Zinnias masterful, floral creations. 

The finishing touches can be found in the cake table, guest book, and party favor displays. The cake table shares the same gold candlesticks and dramatic florals that grace the guest dining tables. A sheer white table runner is folded to perfection and cascades down CTE’s black bistro table, creating the most rock n’ roll dessert display we’ve ever seen. Be sure to sign the guestbook for the couple’s records and grab some edgy party favors.
