Chloe and Daves’ Vibrant Woodland Themed Camp Hale Wedding

Planning a wedding is time consuming and at times overwhelming because as we come to learn “it’s all in the details.” To bring to life that dream vision, it’s all about finding budget-friendly pieces that will make a purposeful visual impact. In looking back at past events, Chloe and Dave in partnership with wedding planner Brittany Cook (Cloud 9 Weddings and Papers) certainly mastered this concept. Let’s take a look…

Chloe and Dave got married at Camp Hale in August of 2019. Camp Hale is a gorgeous and secluded venue located in Red Cliffe, Colorado that comes pre-equipped with its own ceremony spot with mountain and water views, a 40 x 80 tent with flooring and draping, and a private lodge.

The couple gathered with friends and family for their ceremony, keeping the decor simple yet meaningful. The overall color palette can be found hinted at in the floral decor on the arbor, pulling in light pinks, deep reds, and vibrant oranges. As with many locations in our beautiful state, not much else was needed by way of details because the natural beauty speaks for itself. P.S pay attention to Chloe’s veil. We’ll see it again used in a different and unique way that is pretty darn cool!

Moving to the reception tent is where we see the couple’s vision come to life. Here traditional touches were paired with bold colors, glamorous gold accents, and earthy wood tones and greenery. We are still in awe of this perfectly eclectic mix! 

The couple opted for a mix of tables and chairs. Your eye is immediately drawn to the dark wooden king’s style head table consisting of custom farm tables and wooden x-back chairs. For the remainder of guest seating, the couple chose more traditional round tables and banquet tables, with wedding white, padded folding chairs, and pastel, textured specialty linens. 

Each tablescape is gilded in gold, glass, and vibrant flowers, embodying a very mountains meet glam vibe. Wildflowers and thistles are nestled in gold hammered vases, while glass gold beaded chargers frame peak-a-boo dried flowers, and the striking napkin color ties together the bold floral arrangements. 

For the finishing touches, just look up. Delicate draping, our twinkle light package, and a standalone custom greenery piece with suspended terrariums brings this woodland dream full circle.
