Love by the Lake – Jaclyn + Chris’ Catamount Ranch Wedding in Steamboat Springs

Needless to say, 2020 has been a challenging year filled with uncertainty and change. Our hearts go out to all of the couples and industry partners who like ourselves are navigating this wild roller coaster. But, being in the business of love, we know it’s the love for each other, our friends and family, and our country that will bring us back together again! 

In the meantime, we will continue to use our platform as a celebration of love and inspiration for the future events that we can’t wait to share with you; just like Jaclyn and Chris’s dreamy Catamount Ranch wedding by the lake! 

A venue that we have featured before, Catamount Ranch & Club is one of the premier Steamboat Springs wedding venues with unmatched lake and mountain views. Wedding planner Morgan Ashley Cox accented the venue’s amazing, lakefront ceremony site with our crisp, white padded folding chairs and gorgeous floral accents provided by florist, Lace and Lillies; creating a more traditional and delicate atmosphere on this July afternoon.

The clean and delicate vibes from the ceremony translated seamlessly into the reception space; one of our 40 x 100 pole tents. An ode to the mountains was to be found in the earthy and natural elements used throughout the space such as our wooden x-back chairs for all of the guest seating, our custom farm tables used for the head table, ethereal garlands, deep blue table runners, and our birch dance floor.

Yet, it was the refined accents of gold flatware, gold-rimmed chargers and glassware, fine, crisp linens on the guest seating rounds, crystal chandeliers, white florals, and the high pitched tent ceiling that created a beautiful balance within the space. Certainly a nod to the elegance of this age-old tradition! 

All in all, Jaclyn & Chris’s Catamount Ranch wedding and Cox’s gorgeous design was and continues to be an inspiration for elegant, Colorado mountain weddings to come!
